The Legacy Workshop

An hour long experience supporting you to create a personal history reflecting your uniqueness.

After over a decade photographing and witnessing many Wellingtonian’s special moments, I felt moved to create one-of-a-kind Legacy Workshops for those looking to tell their story.

The way our story is told after we leave this life may be out of our control—but we have the power to leave behind personal histories, photos, stories and wishes to help guide our future ancestors to remember us the way we want.

Who is the Legacy Workshop for?

The Legacy Workshop is developed to support the older generation when they are looking back on life and the legacy they leave.

The pace of the workshop is gentle and nurturing—encouraging folk to delve into their most treasured memories through the lens of legacy.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Each participant receives a Legacy Worksheet to document their wishes and special memories. I guide the group through enjoyable exercises for one hour, on-location.

I meet folk where they’re at and provide support as needed.

The workshop is made to connect participants with their community, personal history and to amplify hope for the future.

At the end of the session, participants will leave with:

  • a Legacy Worksheet

  • my Legacy + Story Framework to explore with family and friends after the workshop

  • more clarity on their unique history through the lens of legacy

  • access to support to tell their story (eg. transcription services; Legacy Photo Sessions)

It is free of charge. This is my koha to my community as a local business owner.
